Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in our successful Guns to Gardens Safe Disposal Event in 2025! Our community showed up and showed out for this remarkable and courageous endeavor, and we are happy to report 33 firearms were surrendered on October 25. Two weeks later, we dismantled two more and another one the week after that. That’s 36 firearms that will no longer cause harm, grief, or worry.

The event may be past, but our work is far from complete. We have a long way to go in making our community safer and free from gun violence. Pastor Jenny and Central Presbyterian Church will continue to receive and dismantle unwanted firearms throughout the year while we plan for our next big event. Call Pastor Jenny at the church office to make an appointment if you have an unwanted firearm you are looking to dispose of.
